Do Nothing

In addition to the three resilience concepts, the research team included a “do nothing” concept. This would leave resilience levels as-is. “Do nothing” results in costs associated with cleanup, reconstruction, and lost business, as well as intangible costs to the environment and residential quality of life. For a list of advantages and disadvantages see the bottom of the page.
